Bought in November 2025. Broken in June 2026. Compressor went bad. Have been waiting for over a month for repairs. I suggest you go to the BBB and read the reviews. This company does not give a flip about you after they have your money. "Escalation Team" is just a scam to keep putting you off. Absolutely the WORST experience with an appliance . I work for GE and I will never ever consider buying anything from these charlatans again...GO ANYWHERE ELSE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Although it has only been 3 weeks I am very pleased with it. I spent 4 months with another brand freezer that would not keep temperature. The first one didn™€™t even get cold. The second one the door seal would not seal. Frost was building up on a frost free unit We had to duck tape the door shut in order not to loose anything. My GE freezer is keeping a good temperature range of 1 degree to minus 3 and defrosting on a regular schedule of every 24 hours. So going forward I hope this continues.

Unexplainable malfunction

I have had this freezer for two years and it has stopped working properly on two occasions leading to a meltdown. Luckily, I use an online temperature monitor to get warnings. It continues to work and cycle, but gradually warms to thawing. It would cost as much to get service as to get a whole new freezer. Very disappointed in this appliance.

This is the most disappointing GE product purchase I have ever made. Trusting GE I purchased this sight unseen from a local appliance store. I did look it up online. It seemed fine. Lesson learned: always go to a store to look at them. When opening the freezer door, it does not stay balanced. It comes off the floor in the back. The inside shelving is cheap !y made. The bottom bin is worthless. When trying to open it bin gets stuck and the entire bin moves around when opening. It is hard to close and when i do the whole bin has a hard time closing. Worst purchase i have ever made. Always liked GE products not any longer. The entire interior is and looks like very inferior plastic. I made a big mistake with purchase. If i could return I would. I looked at booklet that was included thinking they sent me the wrong freezer. I have never had to complain about any appliance.

24 hrs after delivered the entire freezer did not work and everything thawed. Sad that the warranty doesn™€™t cover that! I would have hoped for better QI out the door. Once repaired it is working well and we r without complaints so far, but a brutal start!
