My old refrigerator had broken down, and I had medicine that needed to be kept cold right away. I didn't have time to order a full size fridge and wait days for it to be delivered, so I went to my neighborhood hardware store and asked if they had a small fridge. They had the GE 5.6 cubic feet white mini fridge, and I took it home. In a matter of minutes, I unpacked it and plugged it in to immediately start getting cold. It is small enough to fit in my utility closet, but big enough to hold essential items.

Product was larger than expected, so did not fit where planned. However, it's large capacity and storage space are a plus. Keeps items nice and cool while efficient use in electricity. No noticeable change in bill. Freezer is small, but works really well and a nice addition for small capacity frig.

Perfect under counter refrigerator

This under counter refrigerator meets all of our needs and fills many of the wants. The amount of room inside is great. Features like can dispensing column in the door is a nice feature. The freezer is minimal but all we use it for is to freeze an occasional ice cube tray.

Spacious for its size

We've only just installed this fridge but it seems to be running as advertised and keeping temp at chosen setting. It is not noisy but still wish it were a little quieter since it's in a sleeping area. It seems solid and has the feel of a larger model, but still perfect for an undercounted model. I wish the door did not dedicate space to cans, but left shelves longer.

Surprise - in 2021 GE is making refrigerators that need to be defrosted!!!!!! Look elsewhere. Does not keep food cold enough. Produce rots quickly. Milk not cold enough. Ice cubes take forever to form.

Selected this unit because is had a White Exterior and a White Interior. We did not want Stainless Steel or Black!!! Not very happy about the bins in the bottom. I need more storage for Bottles, Sodas, and Beers. Could not arrange the shelves to make good use of the Bin Area, even if removing the bins. Unit appears to chill drinks very well!! PLUS...

The first order was delivered in six weeks, when the carton was opened I found a deep scratch across the entire door. The replacement took a full three months for delivery. The frig works fine but makes loud popping noises at random. I cannot get connected to a warranty repair agent.

I owned several GE Profiles fridge, washer and dryer for more than 25 years, and they were good product. So when it is time to replace my Kenmore compact refrigerator, I bought the GE compact one. The GE fridge worked, but I have to say the Kenmore quality is better.

I like the space in this fridge. Not so sure about the freezer. It has to be set on "coldest" to keep the ice frozen. Maybe the room is too cold. Will re-evaluate when summer comes.

I love this fridge for our master bedroom coffee station and snack bar. I picked the white color vs stainless steel for a more bright and airy look. It™€™s so roomy and has a cute ice tray for the freezer. I love how bright the light is inside to see everything clearly. It™€™s super quiet! It came packaged really well and overall I™€™m very happy with the fridge! I can™€™t wait to fill it up! I have a five year old so it™€™s nice to keep fruits and healthy snacks ready for him when we are upstairs. Also I plan to have a second kid, so this will be much easier to store breast milk in rather than having to go downstairs to my kitchen fridge everytime.

The door shelves are really unusable with a wire bar that lets bottles slide through which means you have to put everything on the glass shelves which also don't have a wonderful layout... If you buy this for the additional size, keep in mind the door shelves are pretty useless.

Bought this for use in an RV. Size is just right, its very quiet, cools down fast. Only problem is the controls are primitive and the light outdated. the temp control failed on the second trip. I replaced it for $12 from Amazon with an electronic unit. Works great, external control/display. Replaced interior light adjustable LED From Home Depot also $12. Now its perfect!

We needed this size and there were only two options. The door tries to be fancy for cans and is useless for us. It also only opens left to right which is awkward. This is our second one. The first died after less than 2 years but outside the warranty. Would have cost almost as much to fix as replace. Hope this one lasts longer.

The door is ridiculously clumsy. The bars holding bottles and jars are made of wire and flop all over the place. Things can fall out very easily. A whole section is devoted to soda or beer cans, neither of which I use. The other shelves on the door are either too small or too large. The freezer is much too narrow, it just barely fits the ice cube trays. It also takes around 24 hours to freeze ice cubes solid. I did not choose this model, my landlord did. It was the only one that fit the cabinet in the kitchen. There is no provision to choose and change the shelves inside the unit.

Good quality, well lit interior. I purchased this model as an under counter beverage refrigerator for our outdoor pool area. The freezer section in this model is tiny and could easily be increased in size by one or two inches without have a large impact on refrigerator interior space. There are NO storage bins in the door just a heavy wire fence that works great for holding cans or small bottles in place but for smaller items like a stick of butter they will fall through. This model has two glass shelves of which one is adjustable. You can easily store 24 or more beverage cans or bottle of beer. There is a large clear plastic draw at the bottom which offers a generous amount of storage space too.
