More expensive black stainless & died within 4 yrs

Bought in late 2021 and it died in early 2025--right after a 3-year warranty. It was just dead one day. and my outlet does work. This is ridiculous. It's hard enough to find black stainless steel microwaves, plus they cost more so this one dying so soon is extremely disappointing.

I bought the exact same model that broke after five years and all the mounting brackets and screw holes were all different. Had to spend a lot of time realigning/mounting it. Then once I started using it the door leaked such that moisture built up between the glass. Needless to say I was disappointed.

I have had nothing but problems from day one. GE sent repairmen out 4 times and it was never fixed. It should have been replaced. Hold your ground, insist on them replacing it. It™€™s not working again, I will not fix it, doesn™€™t do any good, I™€™m replacing it. Very disappointed!!!

This is my 2nd one. Loved the first one thought i just got a lemon. Nope as soon as the warranty ended it just stopped working. I was using it and it just died. Just like the 1st one. What a waste of my money. No more ge microwave for me.

An excellent replacement!

This is a replacement for one that was installed in 2008 when we renovated our kitchen. The one replaced had a plastic door handle that snapped off! This one is much sturdier and has pretty much all the same features, an excellent fit for our needs.

I bought this due to my size requirements. The fan is LOUD and will always go on no matter what even for 10 sec use. I was told that this is normal. If so why is there the option of high, low and off? It is vented outside and I am not using the stove. I did not have this issue with my previous microwave.

Had it installed rught before the pandemic in February/March of 2020. it was always loud, butother than that it was fine. until about 2 months ago, when it just stopped. no lights, nothing. outlet works fine, but not the microwave. had hoped to get more than just a little over 2 yesrs from it.

This was my first time installing an over the range microwave, but I'm an "instruction" nut so I just took my time, following the steps. My anxiety about doing something wrong was much worse than the process. Just called hubby in to help lift it onto the mounting plate & hold it while I screwed down the self aligning screws. It looks so nice, we're already talking about replacing the oven to match the color!
