Called GE and got a very poor response, poor follow through, parts back ordered. Also read on line the these oven doors were having problems. GE did nothing!

Without question the worst stove period I have ever owned. I absolutely cant stand this oven. THE STEAM CLEAN CYCLE IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. THIS STOVE REQUIRES MORE MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING THAN ANY STOVE I HAVE EVER OWNED. ITS A MESS, THE STEAM CLEAN CAUSED THE DIRT TO FLOW INTO THE GLASS WINDOW. RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS STOVE. AND OF COURSE NO PART OF THE WARRANTY COVERS THIS ISSUE SO I AM STUCK WITH THIS MESS.

I have a Chef Connect compatible over-the-range microwave to go with this range. I love the convenience of the synchronized vent, light, and clock. I appreciate two fewer devices to reset every time the power goes out or a daylight savings event occurs. I know, minor conveniences, but this unit provides plenty of them that make a world of difference when added up. I appreciate having both the 30-minute steam cleaning and 5-hour self cleaning functions. If you use the 30-minute one somewhat regularly, it makes keeping the oven clean very easy with a quick wipe down, but the longer option is still there for that accidental nasty mess. Pots boil quickly and the double-sided griddle/grill make this unit quite versatile. I just wish the oven came with a built-in probe thermometer.

The middle burner burns loud, surprised because I have another GE gas stove and doesn™€™t make this noise. Makes noise when I use broiler in oven too. Other stove doesn™€™t make noise. Air fryer does not work as well as my small appliance air fryer, slow to cook and doesn™€™t really get crispy. Easy to keep clean, easy to read display. I like the configuration of burners, but the cast iron griddle rusted a little from putting pot lid on top, I probably have to season it. It would have been nice to have an instruction book in hand. But overall it™€™s a nice stove & microwave.

The stovetop is beautiful and well designed for easy use and clean up. The double/split oven is a nice feature which allows for different uses at the same time. If there is a downside it is that the unit is much and due to the gas line placement we were unable to get it flush the cabinets/countertop. However that may not be an issue for anyone else. If I could change one thing it would be to move the air fryer to the top oven. It is smaller, the heat source is an electric element, and the convection fan would be ideal. That one thing aside, both ovens preheat in a couple of minutes where it took our old oven at least 10minutes to reach 350f. Further, the self-cleaning feature, with a steam-cleaning option is brilliant and will make cleaning the oven less of a chore.

Moisture from the oven shuts keyboard down. Sometimes preventing you from shutting it off, sometimes it shutsdown completely. A service bulletin directed the installation of an insulating device - it was already in place. With a freezer that failed in about 16 months, and this GE stove - sad state of the appliance industry.

Continuous Problems

I've had my range for 3 years and have had it repaired twice, and waiting for the part to come in for the 3rd repair. After only 3 weeks, the igniter in the top oven needed to be replaced. I waited over a month for the part to be received. Now I am having issues with the top oven leaking gas after being turned off. We already had the shut off valve replaced once, and are currently waiting for the second replacement. We are hoping this one works, or we will have to figure out what to do with this faulty appliance since GE doesn't stand behind their products.

Heat leak from top oven door.

Maybe this review is late coming out, but I felt the need to say something. I have used GE products all my life. My entire kitchen currently has GE appliances. No problem with them except for the GE Profile double oven, black stainless steel. An expensive stove. This is my second stove. The first one the top oven door did not close on the left side. It angled out. Service felt it was not fixable, so he ordered a replacement stove. The same problem was visible with a gap in the left top oven door, but not as bad as the first one. However, recently when I had both ovens on, it seemed the cabinet next to the left top oven was hot. The right side of the door was not. So heat is leaking out that left side. I called for service and he came out yesterday. He agreed with what was happening and also felt heat leaking out of the top left oven door. He thought maybe replacing the hinge would pull the door closed tighter. That part should be in within a week or so. I have registered the stove and hope, as a consumer, we can come to a resolution for this issue. Thank you.

Missing features that I previously had in my double oven that was electric. Double ovens are 2 separate ovens, cannot be joined to use as one. There is no convection or broil feature in the top oven. The bottom oven is very low to the ground someone older than myself would have some difficulty using it.

So far so good. The manual are pretty vague as to what is included. For example the grate and the flat grate both come with it. I did buy one but had to return it. The top oven burner was acting like it had air in the line but seems to be ok now. The convection fan comes on during regular baking, not sure if it is supposed to come on. It would be nice to have a printed user manual. The first range I received was damaged but a new one was received within a week.

LP Difficulties

The instructions to convert to LP were confusing to the point that I wondered if they were for my model. I had great difficulties finding the oven's orifices. And the convection fan has never worked. The service techs were out this week and have ordered replacement parts for this brand new range.

So far so good. The Range is nice quality and build. I only have one minor complaint and that™€™s the burners are kind of all over the place as far as btu output. That™€™s by design but it™€™s just slightly an issue.
