This is the first standalone freezer I ever brought. I live by myself so perfect size. Just bought a thermometer yesterday and it™™s reading in the perfect freezer range. Now when meat/chicken is on sale, I can buy more! Only problem I had was trying to set the temperature. The ™knob™ is awkward.

I needed a small freezer because my refridge freezer was too small. I bought this freezer on sale and I couldn't be happier. It holds alot of food and it takes up very little space. It is easy to operate and it's just what I needed.

I am a 75 years old single male and consequently, I don't make large meals, but like to have steaks, seafood on hand, so rather than having to go to the store every day, I order larger quantities of these items. I have recently discovered that my supply is becoming larger that my double door refrigerator/freezer can handle. However, my kitchen is rather small, so I don't have a lot of space available for a backup freezer.
Consequently, I decided to order the 3.6 cu ft Manual Defrost Chest Freezer in hopes that it would be small enough to fit in the available space and still large enough to handle the extra freezer storage that I required.
I picked it up yesterday and unboxed it this morning. After examining it, I find that it is perfect for my needs. Additionally, I love the top tray basket, as it will make it easy to place items that I intend to prepare, each day, within easy reach.
Another plus that I appreciate is the drain being on the front of the chest freezer and at a height that will easily accommodate the placement of a drain pan, thereby making defrosting, when required, much easier to accomplish,
Even though I have not actually plugged it in or filled it yet, I can't really comment on the efficiency of it in this review, I anticipate it will be Perfect for My Needs.

I bought this a couple months ago and omg so happy. I stuffed it with meat and other things to freeze. I have only been to the store for vegetables and things that don™™t keep.
