Bought this in 2019. It has a plastic bucket underneath and in the back for excess water flow. Well never a drop of water has ever entered the bucket in 7 years that we had it.
Any excess water overflow has dripped down into the lower refrigerator filled up the area under the slide out vegetable drawers and ran out the front door and on to the floor.
I think when the Freezer self defrost the melting water ends up on the floor and never once into the drip bucket in the rear.
The company representative wouldn't acknowledge that was happening so nothing was done.

Model WRT111SFDM02 has no available service manual. Regularly ices up in freezer compartment and cold air flow to the refrigerator stops. Could probably be corrected by defrosting the air circulator and coils if there were instructions to remove the rear freezer panel. Information on the web on the web says remove the quarter inches screws and depress the plastic retaining clips. No pictures or diagram of where to depress them. Panel is held upper right and center bottom. I assume clips are upper and panel bottom drops into a slot. Why Whirlpool doesn't have service manuals other than to prevent owners from attempting repairs is beyond me.

Very good value. Fridge is out in the garage sitting on a hard surface. In that location, it seems loud, but that is hardly a fair assessment due to its location.

We purchased this Refrigerator/Freezer from Lowe's in November 2018. I am 65 years old and any time I have had to purchase a major home appliance I have always trusted and turned to Whirlpool (Refrigerator/Freezer, Upright Freezer, Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher).
I have always trusted the Whirlpool name for all my major home appliances. However, I am quite disappointed with the purchase of my current refrigerator/freezer. I was offered an extended warranty, but declined because I trusted Whirlpool products and have never had a problem with any in the past . Here we are only February 2023 and I am on my seventh service call for this unit.

We bought this as a second refrigerator for drinks and small frozen items. It works ok but is makes strange moaning noises. Also, we thought is was supposed to be stainless steel but both door sections got rust spots on them

This fridge is the worst. I will never purchase whirlpool appliances again. I bought a fridge, stove, and microwave from them 5 years ago and they are all broken now. Do not buy. Also when I called for service the phone tree wasn™™t working. I wasted 20 minutes waiting and just had to hang up. Never again.

Since you asked. The refrigerator has always had problems. It decide every so often to freeze every thing including the stuff in the refrigerator. When it does the freezer frosts up. The top rack in the door broke. I was never able too find a replacement. I finally used super glue and used the old rack. Poorly made refrigerator.

A friend bought this for me as a gift. It is perfect in every way except, sadly the freezer seems to not close tight, so condensation gathers by the upper right hand corner. Maybe this is normal? Other than that it is exactly what I wanted. Thank you fir asking g.

I have never been so disappointed with a purchase. After 6 months, the freezer door shelf broke completely in half. The entire refrigerator door has rusted in several spots. Then last week the freezer over froze the food. It's like a super deep freeze. Then refrigerator started also freezing food. I gave up and bought another new refrigerator. This time a danby. Completely loving it.

I am satisfied with the brand but what I'm not satisfied is the customer service and the people who come to fix the refrigerator because their customer service is horrible came twice and they had to cancel on me because the contractor didn't feel safe in the neighborhood i lived in. And I've been waiting for my refrigerator to be fix for more than a month. So I'm stuck with no refrigerator and have 3 kids who are under the age of 6. So this is my review.

Extremely happy with this model, we would highly recommend purchasing any Whirlpool products, as we purchased a Whirlpool top loading washing machine after rating many others. We found that this product made in the U.S.A., was a better investment.

When I bought this refrigerator, I had in my mind, the perfect place for it. It is an excellent fridge for the pool table room. And the size is just what I was needing, not too small, but enough to accommodate refreshments for all ages. I also have enough room in case my main fridge gets a little full. Overall, This is just the perfect refrigerator. It also keeps everything at the right temperature, from drinks, to the ice cream. And it's well insulated, because it hardly ever has to run saving me money.

I purchased this appliance at Brandsmart in (Atlanta)Stockbridge, Georgia about 4/5 yrs ago. Original I received the wrong icemaker kit. Got it corrected and installed. Not soon after that I noticed it was not cooling/freezing. One service guy from Brandsmart said I had the settings wrong. He set them and fled. Didn't solve the problem. Had another Brandsmart service tech to come, he said the freezer seals were leaky, he fled. Still not fixed. Now I have to turn the refrigerator to thaw it out so it can cool once I turn on the unit. Really disappointed with servicing and the product. Will not go back to Brandsmart because of their disappointing service department, which they say is independent from them.

Freon problems

From the day I received this item it didn't work. I finally took to a technician and there were no Freon. The technician filled with Freon and it was wonderful. Then within two months everything started to defrost in the freezer then the refrigerator start to get warm. I had to take to the technician again and he once again looked for leaks and couldn't find any. He believed it was leaking within the walls. This time he filled again with Freon and he noticed that it was leaking even faster then the last time.
The refrigerator itself is really nice and roomy. I only wished that we didn't have this problem with the Freon.

We have been using this refrigerator for a year now in our motorhome. Although we like it there are a few problems. The freezer always pops open when we close the fridge part. And recently I turned up the fridge just a couple of notches part ™recommended ™ and some of the items froze. The ice maker works great.

This refrigerator was delivered to us a couple of weeks ago. It was set up and is in good working order. I do have some worry that the fruit drawer is made of thin plastic and may not hold up. However, my big concern was that the freezer portion of the refrigerator did not have a removal shelf even though it was built to have one. Why was there no shelf in the freezer portion of this appliance?

So since this whole hoarding of.... we wanted to get a freezer. We live in an townhome and we are limited in space. This is perfect size for an add to the standard fridge combo freezer correctly in our home. We are a family of 5 and now we have room to buy sweets. Plus the wife used for her Pastries. This is a really nice fridge/freezer. Due to the location of the unit we had to have the door reversed. This created many issues with the rubber seal not closing flush against the unit, which led to warm air getting in, which in turn led to over-freezing in the freezer and overly warm temperatures in the fridge.
The first repairman came out and didn't actually fix it despite claiming it was fixed. A week later a different repairman came and actually spent much more time to fix it. The fridge works like a dream now. Unfortunately we lost two lots of produce due to the earlier problems. But Home Depot covered the cost through insurance.
The only thing I don't really like about the appliance is that there is no shelving in the freezer, so things get piled up and are not easy to access without taking everything out. But, in general we are very happy with it. It's sleek, looks great and is the perfect fit for the space.

Freezer only 14 degrees at recommended setting. should be below zero for freezing

I decided on this brand after bad luck with Samsung and LG. A major part failed and we had to wait over a month before the repair was complete. No refrigerator for that point of time. It was not completely on Frigidaire, there are only a few select repair companies that are authorized to the repair. The loss of product was not completely covered.

I bought this smaller size refrigerator for the garage and love it. Our space in the garage was limited and this fits perfectly! We needed something bigger than our old mini fridge and this size was the perfect fit. It has recessed handles also.
