Well it was pretty on the outside. Thats about all the good I can say. Like everyone else that buys an LG dishwasher the circulation pump started leaking into the bearing and making noise gradually increasing until it was a scream. Turns out it up and quit fully right after the warranty ran out. Go figure. To top it off LG wont sell the pump motor. Only the whole housing which is roughly $400 with shipping. Better steer clear of LG dishwashers until they can figure out how to make a sealed housing instead of a guaranteed death of appliance right after the warranty.

Purchased this product in 10/2019. Lower Wheels are so cheap it is a struggle to put the bottom rack in every time. My Racks both upper and lower are rotting away. Went to get replacement racks both the upper and lower and that will cost around 400.00 if I can even get them.

Worst dishwasher ever. Lucky it didnt catch my house on fire. It started smoking. Luckily I was near by and able to shut it off. I found the motor and wiring partially burned in the bottom. I then tried to file a warranty claim. A repair appointment was set and nobody showed up.

Reliable dishwasher with Smart Diagnosis

This is our second go around with LG products specifically a dishwasher. We had one in our first home and when we built a new one opted for all LG products again. They seem more reliable for the most part but even when something goes wrong the Smart Diagnosis feature is extremely handy. It helped me decide if it was something I could fix or have an expert work on. The upper rack had some rusting going on but I think its because we put sharp knives there that slice the protective coating off. We should have gone with the utensil top rack. Ill be buying that.

Ive had this dishwasher for 3 years. Something went wrong and tried troubleshooting per the guidelines on LG website. Once reinstalled unit almost caught fire internally. Called LG and their customer service is next to no help and couldnt locate anyone to repair the dishwasher. They kept sending me phone numbers to call for repair and they didnt provide service to my area. It was a non stop week long ordeal messing with them. Ultimately had to buy a replacement dishwasher because I was not able to receive any help from LG. The 3 years it did work it was great but mostly customer service is awful

It was one of the horrible product I ever brought It was serviced almost 6 time since in purchase it from Costco Even in end I paid to LG service time to come and take a look what can be done to fix it finally I was told by LG service person it cannot be fixed as motor is bad and already replaced part is not working. Great when Working

When operable the functionality and effectiveness was very good. Over the course of the first two years of ownership the unit was operational during a maximum occupancy of about 26 weeks. The unit ceased operating due to a water leakage alarm. I was unable to correct it myself and am waiting to schedule a technician until we are next at the house in a couple of weeks.

The dishwasher works very well and the racks are well-designed. Unfortunately the motor died around a year in however customer care sent a professional repair man out right away and replaced it at no cost. Having it break so early on was disappointing but the customer services action to get it resolved promptly and for no charge is why I kept it a 5-star rating.

Winning the $500 still wont cover the cost of having repairmen come to our home at least three times in the last 2 years. Just for the dishwasher. This does not include the two times the refrigerator had to be repaired and the month we waited for a washer part that ended up being the wrong part.The parts maybe covered but not labor and diagnostics. We will never buy another LG appliance or recommend to friends. All of our appliances are less than 5 years old.

Some disappointments with my new LG dishwasher

I wasnt told that the dishwasher doesnt have a heating element hence no really drying capability. While I have tried all the suggestions to achieve maximum drying even leaving dishes in overnight until mid-day the next day theres still water many items. Which leads to the second issue which is that the sides of the top rack arent slanted enough to permit cups and glasses to tilt far enough for the water to dry on the bottoms so need to hand dry them all as theyre removed.

Weve had this dishwasher for a while now. Cleans everything extremely well. Only ding on points is that weve had it under a year and a motor died in it LG service was fast to reply and come out to service it though.

Decent Machine Warranty Needs Improvement

For the most part I like the dishwasher. It does a good job cleaning the dishes. I did realize that the self clean mode on mine wont turn on. The problem was verified by a technician. At that point I found out that the customer is required to pay for the labor to fix the machine which was nearly half of what the dishwasher cost. I will avoid LG products in the future due to this.

We had nothing but trouble with our previous dishwasher that was less than 3 years old. We purchased the LG and it is quieter it works EVERY time I turn it on and the dishes are cleaner

Have had this D/W several months now. Its the best one Ive ever had. Its so quiet sometimes I think I forgot to start it. My dishes come out great and the stainless tub is beautiful.

This is the best dishwasher Ive ever had First of all the black stainless finish is gorgeous and I dont see fingerprints Second it is very quiet when it runs. Third it has so many different options available and the stainless steel interior is beautiful. All in all I am so happy to have bought this dishwasher

This dishwasher has been a problem since day one it cleans excellently but it is very loud there is a machine gun noise when it washes draining noise is loud the racks have rusted after 2 years LG replaced them with different racks that dont work as well so far 2 service calls no one can fix the noise problem this is a dud .

We had been trying to get our Fisher Paykell fixed for almost a year before I decided to just replace it. Someone recommended this to us while we were looking and Im so happy they did We loved the color and sleek look but it is so functional. Its huge and the spaces can be easily configured by popping the spacing racks up or down to accommodate any dish pot or pan. I like that the shelves themselves are easy to move up or down so that bigger bulkier items can fit within the same load as your every day dishes. I need to play with app a little more but I love the functions and many different wash/dry settings available. Its fantastic and we love it
